Internaut day (as it is being called) marks the 25th anniversary of Sir Tim Berners-Lee launching the first public website. On 23rd August 1991, the world’s first website went live to the public. The site, created by Sir Tim Berners-Lee, was a basic text page with hyperlinked words that connected to other pages. Microsoft’s Anniversary Update will gradually be offered to all Windows 10 users over the coming weeks. Microsoft states that this latest version of Windows 10, which has been installed on more than 350 million devices since it was made available last summer, will feature increased security, enhanced power efficiency, better notetaking capabilities and improvements to the Cortana digital assistant.
